The Northtown Open is a benefit tournament that helps fund the Art Loepp Scholarship at North Kansas City High School.

 

The Art Loepp Scholarship Fund was established in honor of former Northtown Head Coach Art Loepp.  Art was Head Coach of the NKC Tennis Programs for 52 seasons; Boy's Tennis (1975-2004) and Girl's Tennis (1981-2002). During this time, Art was instrumental in educating and teaching players how to compete at a high level, while respecting their opponent at the highest level. Art continues to educate and influence a young generation of tennis players today.

Coach Loepp continues to help run his annual North Division Tournament for the local high schools.  He also can be found subsitute teaching in the classroom in various Districts today.

This scholarship is designated for a graduating Senior of both the Boys' and Girls' Tennis Program. This Scholarship will help these graduating Seniors as they begin their College Careers. We would appreciate your support.
